One Year Anniversary in our Office at Elliott House, Irvine

Tuesday 6th June marks one year since we moved into our new office at Suite 1, Elliott House, Kilwinning Road, Irvine. We’re proud to have achieved so much as a company with the help of our full team, who have embraced changes to enable us to become a more progressive firm.

We combined our four branch offices into one, with a full office fit out and restyled the high street version of practice in the 2020s. We have over 30 staff members and our office is fitted out with desks for just 15 staff, though the building can accommodate the firm’s expansion plans if necessary. Having been a practice which until the pandemic had stuck to the 9 to 5 office working day model, our team has fully embraced hybrid working, with staff spending part of their week in the office and the remainder at home.  We have a designated breakout area in the office for staff to enjoy their downtime and we host regular social and team building events.

While planning began about a year before COVID-19 emerged, once the initial shock of lockdown had passed the enforced change began to be seen as an impetus towards the new office and as making the transition a lot easier.
“We pride ourselves in always thinking ahead of the game to develop, an example being our decision over 10 years ago to trial the remote storage of information and case management on the cloud”, partner Caroline Nisbet explains. “We have been working with this technology since then, gradually becoming paperless, to such an extent that when the pandemic forced everyone to work remotely, we were well equipped from the beginning to move our entire practice smoothly from office to homeworking. This meant that throughout the lockdown we were available to fully service all of our clients’ needs.”

We have adopted the latest technology which has increased our efficiency and enabled us to move to a paperless system throughout the business. We shall continue to develop, evolve and improve to ensure we continue to provide a high quality service to both existing and new clients across Scotland. We are proud to have been shortlisted for High Street Firm of the Year in the Herald Law Awards of Scotland 2022 and we cannot wait to see what the future hold over the next year!
