We are proud to support the Ayrshire Hospice in their ‘Make a Will Fortnight.’ From 19th – 30th October 2015 we have agreed to waive our normal fee and write Wills free of charge. Instead of paying our solicitor’s fee, you will be invited to make a donation to the Hospice.
If you are interested in participating in the scheme you can contact us direct between these dates to have a pack sent out to you. When enquiring, please quote “Ayrshire Hospice Make a Will Fortnight.” Once you have completed the documentation which will be sent out to you, you are invited to book an appointment, which may or may not be within that fortnight depending on the solicitor’s schedule.
At your initial meeting, one of our solicitors will take your instructions. It should be noted that the offer is for a basic Will only. There may be an additional charge for a non-basic Will, where specialised advice may be required. If you are happy to proceed, we will invite you to make a donation to the Hospice (preferably by cheque made payable to The Ayrshire Hospice) instead of paying the solicitor their usual fee involved in writing your Will.
Is there any obligation to leave a gift in a Will to The Ayrshire Hospice?
There is not an obligation, but the Ayrshire Hospice is always appreciative of those who remember the Hospice in this way. Around 2/3rds of the annual costs of the Hospice rely on donations, charity fundraising and legacies. Any legacy, regardless of size, will be much appreciated.
If you wish to participate in the Scheme, please contact a member of our team who will be happy to assist you.
